While they aren't the best vinyl windows by any means, they are one of the better options at these sort of generic retail stores. I would say that Reliabilt windows are generally in that lower end of the mid range vinyl window cost spectrum. Reliabilt and Simonton are two of the brands that I would recommend buying if you are purchasing at Lowes or Home Depot.

Reliabilt doesn't make their own windows, they are actually relabeled Atrium windows. This is a somewhat common practice in the industry and is not a bad thing in any way. The reason is that they are typically paid by the window and are not paid very well for their services (at least compared to other local companies). This means that the subcontractor is incentivized to go as quickly as they can, which is a recipe for sloppy work. This isn't to say that all installers who work for these places aren't good, but when you've heard as many horror stories about poor installation as I have, you begin to take the long approach to home improvement.
