Best Window Replacement Company
There will always be debate when it comes to the best window replacement company -- certainly there are many that fit this bill. If you have have questions as to which companies have dealers in which cities, email me and I will provide you with my recommended list -- dan@windowreplacementcost.com. Best Window Replacement Company : Vinyl
Here are my top 10 best vinyl window companies. Unfortunately, not all of these manufacturers offer their exceptional products in every state and town. If you would like to know which of these options are available in your city and state, email me, Dan, and I'll provide you with a recommended list -- dan@windowreplacementcost.com. The following are not necessarily in an order from best to least best -- but they sort of are if you catch my drift...

Okna
Okna window series include the 400, 500, 600, 700, and 800 series. The company is based out of Pennsylvania and has a rather large distribution and dealer network that stretches over much of the east and mid west. All of their series are great, which is a rarity in this business.
Sunrise
Sunrise Windows manufactures a number of vinyl options, as well as patio doors. Their windows include the Essentials, Standard, Verde, Vanguard, V Class and Restorations window series. I like all of their series with the exception of their Essentials series.
Soft-Lite
Soft-Lite manufactures a number of vinyl options, as well as patio doors. Their models include the Essentials, Standard, Verde, Vanguard, V Class and Restorations. I like all of their series with the exception of the Essentials.
Polaris
Polaris Windows is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio and actually owned by a company called Modern Builders Supply. Polaris isn't the biggest manufacturer by any means, especially when compared with companies Simonton and Jeld Wen. Their ThermalWeld and ultraWeld are both top performers.
Anlin
Anlin Windows And Doors are a strictly west coast affair with a single factory in Central California. The company is family owned and has been in business for over 20 years now. Anlin is not a well known name like Simonton or even Milgard, but they do make quality vinyl windows and doors.
Kensington
Kensington HPP is headquartered in western Pennsylvania and has been making windows and doors since the 1970s. The company went through a bankruptcy in 2009. Today, they make a number of great options, including the Kingston, Huntington and Quantum 2 window models -- these are listed from "least" best to very best. The Quantum 2 series is impressive.
Ideal
Ideal is a New Jersey based manufacturer that offers some great vinyl options. Their Majestic and Platinum 3000 series are very close in quality and both excellent vinyl windows. Interestingly, if you visit their website, these two series don't show up...like at all. This makes very little sense to me. However, the UltraTite series, which is listed on their site, is the equivalent to the Majestic and Platinum 3000.
ProVia
ProVia is known for making very good aluminum and vinyl storm doors, as well as vinyl and wood clad windows. The ProVia Aspect and Endure are both great performers, with the Endure vinyl series being in the top tier of vinyl options.
Amerimax
Amerimax Windows manufacture solid mid range window and offers lots of exterior color options. I usually recommend Amerimax as one of the options for west coast and mountain region homeowners looking to buy a good vinyl window at a competitive price point. Amerimax offers a limited lifetime warranty with a 20 year provision on labor and materials. The company is headquartered in Colorado.
Vytex
Vytex windows are not anywhere near a household name, but this Maryland based company does offer the Potomac-hp and Fortis vinyl series, both of which offer some very impressive features, craftsmanship and impressive performance data.
Best Window Replacement Company : Wood Clad
Here are my top 3 best wood clad window companies. Not all of them will offer their exceptional products in every state and town. If you would like to know which of these options are available in your city and state, email me, and I'll provide you with a recommended list -- dan@windowreplacementcost.com.

Andersen
Andersen has one of the most recognizable names in the industry and specializes in wood clad windows. They also make their 100 composite series, along with their 200 series and premium 400 series. The Andersen 400 series is their best product in my opinion.
Marvin
Marvin Windows And Doors are one of the better known companies in the business and the company has a very good reputation for quality craftsmanship and products. Their Ultimate wood cald series is attractive and well made. One of the best wood clad options out there
Kolbe
Kolbe is known mainly as a wood window manufacturer, perhaps also for their aluminum clad window options. Their most popular window model has to be the Heritage series, but the Ultra and VistaLuxe series are their top performaers. Kolbe products are expensive, but wood clad windows are generally very expensive to begin with.
Best Window Replacement Company : Fiberglass
Here are my top 5 best fiberglass window companies. Not all of these will offer their exceptional products in every state and town. If you would like to know which of these options are available in your city and state, email me, and I'll provide you with a recommended list -- dan@windowreplacementcost.com.

Alpen
Alpen is not inexpensive, but they do make efficient quality products. They make three models, the 525, 725, and 925. The 925 is one of the most efficient fiberglass windows on the market.
Marvin
Marvin manufactures three models, two of which are fiberglass windows -- the Integrity and the Infinity. While the Integrity is the less expensive of the two, the Infinity is often regarded as one of the best fiberglass windows on the market. The Integrity is also good.
Best Window Replacement Company : Aluminum
Here are my top 2 best aluminum window companies. Not all will offer their exceptional products in every state and town. If you would like to know which of these options are available in your city and state, email me, and I'll provide you with a recommended list -- dan@windowreplacementcost.com.

Don Young
: This Texas based company (actually they have five window manufacturing plants in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Lubbock, and Oklahoma City) manufactures an excellent thermally broken aluminum window in the 8200 series. This model is well suited for very hot climates and would top my list for aluminum clad options.
NT
NT Windows: This is another Texas based company that is probably more well known than Don Young. NT makes some nice vinyl series in the Executive and Presidential series. They also make an excellent aluminum window in the Twinsulator. My second pick in this category.
Milgard
Milgard also makes an quality aluminum window. They make two models, and I would recommend going with the upgraded of the two options.
Best Window Replacement Company : Impact Windows
Here are my top 5 company picks for impact windows. The following companies may or may not be available in your city and zip code. For a list of recommended brands and series, email me, and I'll provide you with a recommended list -- dan@windowreplacementcost.com.
