NT Windows Costs And Quotes
Explore NT window costs and prices from past homeowners and consumers who have used their Energy Masters, Traditions, and Presidential window series. NT Window is a Texas based company that has been making vinyl windows since 1990. While not considered a top tier manufacturer, they make a solid mid range vinyl window that will typically offer nice value for most homeowners.

NT Traditions Windows Costs
NT Traditions vs. Revere Berkshire
I live in Texas and need to replace five windows that were damaged during a recent hailstorm. Although our insurance does cover some of the expenses to replace them, it doesn't cover everything. I want a decent mid range window and would love to get your opinion. I have received a couple of quotes:
Tectview Single Hungs: $2350
Revere Berkshire Elite Single Hungs: $2838

Brandy, I have to say you could and should probably do better than the bids you have. I don't feel like either one of these is going to offer the quality that will provide you with long term value. I would recommend getting a bid from Don Young on their vinyl windows or take a look at NT Windows, which offers three lines, the Energy Masters, Traditions or the Presidential. The mid range Traditions is probably the best bet for your needs.
The better series from Simonton, including the Reflections 5500 (Platinum Prism Series) is also worth a look. Any of these three will offer you better long term value than the two window bids you currently have.

NT Executive Windows Costs
NT Executive Series vs. Alside Mezzo
We live in Houston and plan to replace all 30 of our windows. We have three bids, all of which include low-e cardinal glass, and limited lifetime warranty. NT also offers a lifetime installation warranty, which seems quite nice.
Alside Mezzo: $570 each
NT Executive: $667 each
Milgard Tuscany: $915 each

Rammie, the price on the Milgard Tuscany is way too much to consider in my opinion. The NT Executive is the better window than the Mezzo, but it's also quite a bit more expensive. I would see if I could get the NT dealer to match the Alside Mezzo using the argument that if he can, you are ready to sign. I'm not a huge fan of the Mezzo so I might see how I could get into the NT Executive window.

NT Executive Window Pricing
I'm in Dallas and will be replacing 15 windows. I have a few quotes, which include the following:
NT Executive Series: $9,880
NT Traditions Series: $10,840
Berkshire Elite Single Hung Series: $7250
Any opinions you care to share would be appreciated.

Will, I'm not a huge fan of the Berkshire Elite Single Hung. It is basically the Alside Mezzo window and not the window that I feel offers the best long term value. NT is a good mid range option. The Executive series is the better of the two windows so that's the option I would go with there.
You may want to consider some more bids before you move forward. Milgard, Don Young, and Simonton (Impression 9800 and Reflections 5500) all come to mind as good manufacturers that will have local dealers in your neck of the woods.

NT Presidential Windows Costs
The NT Presidential series is the company's premium vinyl window.
NT Windows Price Quote
Good evening Dan, I got a quote from NT windows: $21,095 and one quote for Milgard Tuscany series foe $18,581. Aesthetically I love the Milgard, could you compare the quality of the three for me.
Thanks,
Martha - September, 2018
Site Editor's Response
Hi Martha, so I would need to know the actual window from NT before I compared the two. In general, the Migard Tuscany is considered a decent mid range vinyl window. I would put the NT Executive and Presidential series above the Tuscany, and everything else from NT below it. So I'm assuming you are talking about the NT Presidential window compared to the Tuscany, I would expect that price difference of $2500.
If you like the Milgard and feel like the installation company is going to do as good a job or better as the NT dealer, then I don't see why you wouldn't go with the Milgard. They enjoy a relatively solid reputation in the window industry.
